Rent - A - Driver
is a new but simple concept that makes your holidays in Namibia as carefree as possible.
We offer two different services -
a) you rent a car from your preferred car rental agency and we provide an experienced driver/guide
b) we provide both, the vehicle and an experienced driver/guide
The Drivers:

have of a public drivers licence
are licenced to drive heavy vehicles
are familiar with all the terrain in Namibia
know Namibia well and are qualified guides
have at least 10 years of accident-free driving experience

Available Vehicles:

VW Microbus air-condition comfortable, for up to 5 passengers plus driver
Mercedes 560SEL air-condition, comfortable for up to 3 passengers plus driver

Our Rates valid from 01 November - 31 October:

Driver/Guide only N$1.200.00 per day
Driver/Guide plus VW Microbus N$2,795.00* per day
Driver/Guide plus Mercedes 560SEL N$3,795.00* per day
Rates for all rentals are charged at a 7 day minimum. However, if your itinerary is for more days the full number of days are being charged. In case you would like to rent for less days, please request a quote.
All Rates include 15% VAT and the ones marked with an * also include petrol, oil, unlimited mileage, full vehicle insurance and limited passenger liability insurance. You are required to take out additional personal accident insurance as well as luggage insurance in your country of residence. Our driver will meet you upon arrival at Windhoek airport or at your hotel in Windhoek. There is where your trip begins and ends with drop off at Widhoek airport unless other arrangements are made in advance. Pick-up or drop-off at other places in Namibia may attract additional charges.
In addition to these rates you must provide throughout the trip for the driver/guide a single room at the same hotels where you are staying at as well as all meals. If you make all your room reservations through us, we will be able to obtain considerably discounted rates for drivers/guides. It is with regrets to advise that our drivers will not drive camping vehicles nor motorhomes nor will they go on camping trips.
Additional Information and Conditions:
by cars rented from your chosen car rental company:
Once we have confirmed the reservation we will e-mail you the rental contract for driver/guide only which we ask you to sign and fax back to us.
When you rent a car from a car rental agency our driver must be listed on the rental contract as driver. This rental contract is between yourselves and the car rental company.
In addition passenger insurance must be taken out at your expense.
As far as vehicle insurance is concerned this is up to your discretion but strongly recommended. None of our drivers nor any other employee, director of the company or the company itself nor Reservations Africa CC, who act as agents only, are liable for vehicle damage, loss or theft of vehicle, loss or theft of luggage, any injuries or deaths resulting from any accidents caused by or under any circumstances whatsoever or any other reasons whatsoever or resultant consequences.
Our driver/guide is not responsible or liable for any defects of the car rented from your car rental company.
Our driver/guide will meet you at the car rental agency either at their Windhoek town or Windhoek Airport office and will also drop you off at the respective office. Pick-up or drop-off at other places in Namibia may attract additional charges from the car rental agency as well as from us.

by cars and driver/guide rented from us:
Once we have confirmed the reservation we will e-mail you the rental contract for vehicle with driver or just for the driver, which we ask you to sign and fax back to us.
One of the conditions stipulates that you are required to take out personal accident and luggage insurance in your country of residence. We expressly advise that none of our drivers nor any other employee, director of the company or the company itself nor Reservations Africa CC, who act as agents only, are liable for loss or theft of luggage, or any injuries or deaths resulting from any accidents caused by or under any circumstances whatsoever or any other reasons whatsoever or resultant consequences.
Vehicle insurance is included. Therefore, you are not liable for any vehicle damage or loss.
