King's Den Lodge,

is situated in the east Caprivi on the banks of the Chobe River, which forms the border of 4 countries (Namibia, Botswana Zimbabwe, and Zambia). The lodge is equally easy accessible from these countries as well as from South Africa.

Guests will be met at the Kasane immigration office in Botswana and transferred to the lodge by boat. Assistance with immigration procedures will be provided by management or staff of King's Den Lodge. Vehicles can be safely stored at the Kasane immigration office.

 Welcome at King's Den Lidge
Restaurant 10 wooden chalets with balconies overhanging the river, offer a magnificent view of the Chobe and Sedudu (Kasikili) Island, stamping ground of elephant, buffalo and hippo, 5 chalets overlook the tropical garden. All rooms have en suite bathrooms and are equipped with ceiling fans. The Zambezi Queen, moored on the river at the lodge, offers another 9 air-conditioned rooms with en suite bathroom facilities and lounge.
Guests can enjoy their meals in the thatched dining area; relax with an ice cold drink in the bar or take a dip in the swimming pool.

Elephants bathing unafraid, a rare Sitatunga antelope grazing on the riverbank, Crocodiles waiting for prey in the shelter of the reeds, Hippos taking a breather during their underwater journey are some of the close encounters with wildlife on our guided boat cruises. Bird watching on foot or by boat, guided walks to a nearby village, fishing trips - a wide choice of activities for our guests to spend their leisure time.

 Day excursions to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and the Chobe National Park in Botswana as well as nature walks on Sikoma Island can be arranged on request.

Please Note: The Caprivi is a Malaria area and visitors are advised to take precautions throughout their visit.
