KHAN RIVIER GUEST FARM
Namibia , previously known as South West Africa, was Africa's last colony to gain independence in March 1990, and offers some of Africa's most breathtaking and contrasting sceneries. Due to its economical and political stability, Namibia is destined to become one of the most sought after tourist destinations on the African Continent. It is a vast country, covering more than 318,000 square miles but has a population of only 1.8 Million inhabitants, making it the most sparsely populated country in the world thus offering huge areas of unspoilt and untapped nature. Although referred to as being a desert country, Namibia's central and western part is an arid to semi-arid desert to semi-desert however changing over to huge areas of fruitable Bushland Savanna, especially in the northern areas of the country with the Kavango and Caprivi tribal areas being referred to as semi tropical.
The Country is a checkerboard of commercial farms, communal farms, private game reserve and state-owned game reserves, the world renowned Etosha National Park being the second largest Game Reserve in the World after the Serengeti in Tanzania.
Khan Rivier Guest Farm is an established, luxurious guest farm, hosted by Georg and Martina Neef.
The well appointed en-suite accommodation facilities will ensure you privacy and a comfortable stay.
The silence of the african bush can be enjoyed while relaxing along the pool side next to our thatched "Lapa", where the best sunsets, Africa has to offer, can be enjoyed around the BBQ fire or at our well stocked bar.
We offer you farm drives, game drives, clay pidgoen shooting and guided walks through the bushveld. Here you have the possibility to view game species like Kudu, Oryx, Steenbuck, Jackal, Warthog, Blesbuck, Blue Wildebeest, Springbuck and on occasion even Leopard.
We look forward to welcome you on your visit to our luxurious guest farm Khan Rivier. We promise you an unforgettable experience.
